Amazon orders now arriving
November 26th, 2008 by Don Stewart
The first Amazon-shipped books seem to be arriving now — so keep an eye on your mailbox.
Brendan Kohler sent us the following from Boston, which I think is the first Amazon delivery:
On mobile devices, shepheb sent us the following photo of RWH on his Nokia N810.
Got mine today.
Mwahahahahahah.
Got mine today too. Pittsburgh (PA).
My Amazon pre-order is probably arriving soon…but I live in Korea right now and I had it shipped to my US address (my mother-in-law’s house). However, there are many places here where I can buy one of those beetles pictured on the cover — they sell them in department stores.
Perhaps I can occupy myself with some “real world” bug collecting until I get back to the US and my copy of RWH.
It’s ranking high on Amazon in Germany:
Amazon.de Verkaufsrang: #267 in Englische Bücher (English books)
#2 in Englische Bücher > Computers & Internet > Programming > Software Design, Testing & Engineering > Software Development
#2 in Englische Bücher > Computers & Internet > Computer Science > Software Engineering
#3 in Englische Bücher > Computers & Internet > Programming > Languages & Tools
They’re not shipping yet, though.
Cheers
I got mine on Wednesday. Needless to say, I had a lot to be thankful for on Thursday!
(BTW, where do we send corrections? I’ve found a couple typos so far)
Привет, я думала что это совсем не так происходит:)
