Our book went to the presses on schedule, on Friday. It should be in O’Reilly’s stockrooms by late November, and starting to appear in actual bookstores about two weeks later. At a guess, then, I’d be thinking about the week of December 8.

Please, hurry! I’ve been sleeping for a long time in front of my favourite bookstore and my provisions are about to be exhausted! However I think it will take a couple of weeks more from the first edition before I can buy the book in Barcelona (Catalunya-Spain).
    Auto-note: please, be patient!

I just got a mail from Amazon saying

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has
changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery
estimate based on the new release date:

Bryan O’Sullivan (Author), et al “Real World Haskell”
    [Paperback]
    Estimated arrival date: 12/16/2008 – 12/22/2008

Strange…I just ordered from Amazon last night. It says it’s “in stock” but requires 1-2 extra days to ship it. A confirmation email said it would arrive on 12/2.

I’ll post back if that changes.

I just received a notice from Amazon that RWH has shipped and will arrive on my doorstep tomorrow. We’ll see…

Yep, same here! I just got email from amazon telling me that RWH is on its way and I should have it tomorrow (seems fairly fast to me, usually it takes a few days). Wouldn’t that be nice.
Thanks to Bryan, Don, and John for a wonderful book!

I just received the mail that my copy has shipped, too.
I used the free shipping option so it may take a bit
longer, but Amazon has been fast lately, probably a
    side effect of reduced business.
