A (very) brief progress update
October 29th, 2007 by Bryan O'Sullivan
We’ve been busily working towards getting half of the book chapters written in first-draft form by the middle of November. We’re likely to meet this goal, but it’s going to be a busy few weeks of writing and hacking.
Hello, I tried to send You an email, but it was rejected by the mailer daemon. So, I will just write here in hope that someone will read it soon
My name is Mladen Srdić and I am interested in reviewing Your forthcoming book on Haskell. I am an undergraduate student (finishing, fourth year) of a Faculty of Computer Science in Belgrade, Serbia. Beside that, I professionaly work for a small startup based in Silicon Valey (working with Java). Also, I hold a possition of a teacher’s assistant in Functional programming course (in Haskel), which is taught in third year on my faculty. I am personaly interested in FP languages construction, lambda calculus, computational intelligence and many more things. I also have some experience in Common Lisp, because I learned it on my own, and have used it, during first and second year of my studies. Hope to hear from You soon.
Regards,
Mladen Srdić.
Middle of November has come and gone. What is the expected date? It will be useful to get the version of book to a wider audience. You can always update the chapters again after the draft is published.
Bryan, could you post some update? We are eagerly waiting…
Yes, please do some update…
