Over the past week, I’ve been working on the web presentation of the book. I now have a functioning comment system running on my laptop. This will allow readers to comment on every paragraph of the book. There will also be an Atom feed of comments which people can subscribe to, so we can have a two-way conversation with our readers as we continue to write new chapters and improve existing ones.
Some time this week, I’ll be setting up an announcement-only mailing list for our early reviewers, to let people know when we post content. I expect to post the first few chapters for review some time next week.
Once we’ve given any given chapter a few weeks to receive semi-private reviews, and we’ve turned around improvements and updates in response, we’ll make them publicly available. I intend that we’ll have early chapters for public review by the middle of October. At that point, there ought to be a fairly steady flow of chapters going through the write-private review-public review pipeline.
