Announcing the Bay Area Functional Programmers Group

Keith Fahlgren sent out an announcement this morning about the new Bay Area Functional Programmers group. We’re hoping to set up an initial meeting on Thursday, September 13th at 7:30pm, somewhere in San Francisco. For details and to participate, join the mailing list.

    The credit is really due to Mike Wells (an Ocaml guy), who pushed me to help start it after noticing that we were both on the New York FP group list and not in New York. He’s a co-founder of Skydeck, which is using FP commercially.
